ESCRIPTION
Blessed with an ear for song
and a dulcet or sonorous
singing voice, the cantor
is the head of the church
choir, responsible for
leading them in the
most lilting of songs
and most baritone of
chants. It is the cantor's
task to always ensure
that the music produced
is pleasing to the ear and
pleasing to their god.
When the church wishes
to secure the patronage of
a visiting noble or figure
of power and influence,
the cantor's leadership
of the choir is given
great credence, for a
truly well-performed
piece can sway an
audience, inspiring
devotion and emotion
with equal measure.
