Cascade Designs began with a Therm-a-Rest

patent application in 1972. That irst patent was for an
innovative new mattress that brought greater comfort and warmth to backcountry travelers. Over the
last 40 years, Cascade Designs has evolved, but our goals have not changed: The Therm-a-Rest
®
brand
remains committed to providing the most inventive and practical comfort solutions in the outdoor
market. This year, Cascade Designs celebrates its heritage by releasing a limited edition Therm-a-Rest
®
mattress that sets new standards in the equation of warmth, comfort and lightweight packability we
developed 40 years ago. The Therm-a-Rest

brand also introduces three new NeoAirâ„¢ mattresses that
will enhance outdoor sleep experiences around the world. The patent-pending technology that makes
these mattresses possible is proof of Cascade Designs’ continuing dedication to engineering, testing
