inch size.
Knit Handles: Knit 6 strips of i-cord 35 inches long. Take 3 strips and braid them
together to form 1 handle. Repeat the braiding process for the second handle.
Seam the ends of each handle together to form a circle. You should now have two
circular handles.
Finishing: If you are lining the bag, measure out the fabric so that you have a
quarter inch seam allowance. Block both pieces of the bag as pictured below. Place
handles under the top flap and stitch into place as you sew in the lining. Sew the
bottom and sides of the bag using mattress stitch (right sides facing out). Add a but-
ton, and create a tie using i-cord or a decorative braid. Enjoy your brand new bag.
